The fountain, the gazebo with its huge chimney in stone and brick and the wooden beamed portico lead into the breakfast room. This large and light room looks out directly on to the garden through a large glass window. It is furnished with wooden table, chairs and sideboard in a rustic style and a splendid wood stove of cast iron and brass.
The proprietors have chosen to play with contrasting materials and tones, between white walls and beautiful traditional furniture, the floors in brickwork with insertions of chippings from Piave and antique furniture and ornaments in wrought iron. Here you can go in the evening for conversation, to read a book, exchange impressions of the day or to ask the proprietors’ advice on excursions for the following day.
The welcoming bedrooms are found on various floors of the house and have private bathrooms. The attention to detail is apparent from the start, beautiful flowers, elegant carpets and curtains, paintings by the Venetian painter E. Talamini. Fittings in the style of the end of the eighteen century, walnut headboards and furniture, ornaments and mirrors, all created by craftsmen.
The silence that reigns in this atmosphere is interrupted only when the garden comes to life with almost imperceptible songs creating a soft melody.
The atmosphere of the house is that of a secluded corner, full of light and colour, protected from the pace of life and enclosed by a beautiful garden.
